History
Highly-specialised engineering since 1962
Together with his engineering company IKL in Lübeck, Professor Ulrich Gabler has significantly influenced submarine construction since 1947. In 1962 he founded GABLER Maschinenbau GmbH in Lübeck and GABLER has since then developed into a globally active company with an excellent reputation as a leading provider of naval technology. In addition to expanding the manufacturing facility, in 1974 GABLER Maschinenbau augmented its range of products with automatic thermoforming machines which quickly set international quality standards for the food packaging industry.
